The Surf School
The Surf School is located just behind the dunes, south of the seafront. Away from the crowds, come and enjoy a peaceful, friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
After your session, enjoy a quick shower (the shower is hot when the weather is cold!) and individual changing rooms where you can get changed in complete privacy.
We also have a shop and café area where you can grab a drink or a snack on the terrace before or after your session!

SAINT-GILLES-croix-de-vie
St Gilles’ Main Beach is a great surf spot for all levels!
Beginners will find small waves or whitewash close to shore, perfect for learning without feeling overwhelmed, while more experienced surfers can paddle out back to the line-up and find steeper, more technical waves to challenge themselves and improve their skills.
We’ll paddle out a little further away from the crowds along the seafront, where it’s quieter and the surroundings feel a bit more natural.
The spot is only a 6-minute walk from the surf school — the perfect distance for a little warm-up! 😉
our equipement
The wetsuits are made by the French eco-friendly brand SOORUZ. They’re thick (5/3mm) yet remain fairly flexible. They are perfect for surfing all year round in St Gilles Croix de Vie (yes, even in summer, the water stays pretty chilly and rarely reaches 20°C!).
The boards are from SOFTECH, TORQ and OCEAN STORM, well-known brands for their lightweight and flexible construction. These brands offer a wide range of boards (foamies or hardtops) for all levels and body types, ensuring the best possible chance of success and fun during your surf sessions!
